£8,150 per annum, actual, pro rata (£20,375 per annum, full time equivalent)

Our Big Shop at Hemlock Park in Cannock is one of 16 retail outlets for Katharine House Hospice, which provides free specialist palliative care through a range of services to the people of Mid-Staffordshire.

In these hands-on roles, you will be required to work with a team of dedicated staff and volunteers to maximise sales and increase profitability.

The role is challenging but rewarding and every day will be different with the list of duties varied.

You will be experienced in a retail/customer service environment, although training will be provided, with high standards, and an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.

You will assist the store management team in the daily running of the store and these all round positions include processing donations, till work, general housekeeping, pricing etc,.These are physically demanding positions in a busy retail environment with some lifting of furniture/donated goods required.

You must have availability over 7 days, please note these positions will include weekend working.
