MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Newton Aycliffe area.

MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking to learn a semi-skilled, long term position in production, operating machinery and repair work.

Please be aware to be considered for this role you must have at least or close to 5 years recent production/assembly experience.

The Role:

Attending morning briefings with team leader / supervisors for daily production targets
Following and working with engineering drawings
Safely operating machinery to manufacture and repair products within spec
Use of hand tools for assembly of products
Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
Allocation of parts into required boxes or stillages
Strict adherence to health and safety regulations weld
Using measuring tools to ensure products are correct

The Person:

Ability to read engineering drawings
Experience of working with metal would be advantageous
Must be flexible to work overtime
Physically fit as manual handling is present in the role along with heavy lifting
Able to work from their own initiative
