- When required, be involved with subcontractors to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality
- Ensuring implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's and approval of supply chain RAMS plus other Safe Systems of Works, when specified, in line with Company procedures
- Delivery of site inductions, issuing of permits/forms and daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.g site diaries and quality records)
- Procurement and planning of equipment & materials for site establishment and throughout delivery of the scheme
- Undertaking weekly site audits using Kier's internal reporting system.
- Documenting and issuing RFI's in collaboration with the project manager
- Some experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
- Knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specific activities

Responsibilities
As Trainee Site Manager, you'll work along site a Site Manager on capital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites. In this role you'll be responsible for the supervision of the workforce for the Finham and Unicorn Lane shaft installation.
