We are currently recruiting for a
Security Officer to join our Maelor Foods Team as follows;

Hours of Work
4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights.

Working 06:00am to 18:00pm / 18:00pm to 06:00am.

Role Duties

Ensure the security, safety and wellbeing of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
Controlling access to and from the site (booking in vehicles, visitors and contractors) and appropriately directing them / informing hosts of arrival.
Receiving and signing for deliveries and/or directing deliveries to the correct drop off locations on site.
Completing driver documentation packs
Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
Complete incident reports and any other required documentation for any security incidents
Assist in conducting temperature checks of chillers out of hours ensuring issues are escalated to the appropriate person
Assist in conducting environmental patrols out of hours ensuring issues are escalated to the appropriate person
Protect the company's assets relative to theft, fire and other safety issues

Experience and qualifications:

SIA Licence
Desirable

Valid Driver's Licence

Desirable

PSS License

Desirable
High attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, in English
Safety focused
Ability to cope with routine work
Flexible and able to work additional hours when required
Have a cando attitude; willing to learn other tasks as required.

Salary:
£24,024.00 per year
