Trainee Accountant

Tattersall Bailey Chartered Accountants

Cockermouth / Carlisle


Tattersall Bailey is a modern, cloud-based accountancy practice, passionate about delivering the best accounting and tax solutions for our clients.

We are actively seeking an organised, motivated, adaptable person who is looking to undertake an accounting apprenticeship.

Following the completion of professional in-house training, there is scope to progress within the firm and undertake a formal accounting qualification.


Following training, some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Operating cloud accounting software
  • Processing and reconciling bank/cash transactions
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
  • Assisting with the completion of management accounts
  • Assisting with the completion of Accounts / VAT returns
Experience is not necessary.
