Location:
Ledbury, Herefordshire

Salary:
£26k - £28k(OTE £30k+)**
Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Installation Technician on behalf of one of our clients.

This position will be part of the installation team for company products both in agricultural and industrial sector, working under a site Lead Installer.

Projects undertaken can range in complexity dependent on what and where the products are being installed.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • The installation of products on agricultural & industrial sites.
  • Undertaking service and maintenance duties of installed products.
  • Following instruction from the lead installer, but willing to give suggestions on best approach and methods.
  • Assisting with R&D projects as required, including testing, giving practical feedback to new developments.
  • Ensuring company vans are kept in an orderly and road worthy manner.
  • Completing weekly timesheets and expenses as per company procedures.
  • Following the company and customer's health and safety procedures and practices are followed throughout the installation.
  • To the right applicant, together with experience and training, it is envisioned that this role can develop, becoming more independent and working towards becoming a Lead Installation Technician.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Training is always provided where required.
  • From prior experience of mechanical fitting of products, you will be able to effectively lead and direct thirdparty labour to ensure products are installed to the expected standard.
  • Selfmotivated with a desire to achieve high standards and has attention to detail in their work.
  • Good organisational skills, having a flexible approach to the work required is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are required to ensure the installation team works effectively.
  • Some basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge could be beneficial.
  • Must be comfortable to work at height using powered access equipment and static towers.
  • The possession of uptodate IPAF, PASMA & CSCS cards would be an advantage, but courses will be provided when required.
  • Travelling throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world is a prerequisite. Long periods away from home may be required.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Valid Passport for worldwide travel.
