    Responsible for the Maintenance, Engineering and Facilities function and working closely with Production Management to ensure the smooth running of the Pipers' Factory and Warehouse.

    Responsible for site led engineering Capex projects.

    Lead team of shift engineers to ensure the smooth running of the factory and warehouse - accountable for making decisions.

    Development of AOP build and management of all Engineering budgets (£0.Lead Engineering Safety agenda, ensuring site maintain a robust contractor management and health and safety program.

    Liaise with Central Engineering, major equipment suppliers and project teams to develop and optimise equipment design to drive productivity at site.

    Develop and improve systems to measure performance and KPIs, using data to manage individual and equipment performance.
    Site lead and network support for Capital process, writing new Capex's and managing Projects.

    Manage the Site Facilities for Watson Building and Pegasus Road to ensure the sites continue to run in a safe and efficient manner and is a pleasant working environment.

    Manage the Obsolescence and asset replacement program for site.

    Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure Brigg receive the best possible service and prices (if not managed centrally).

    Develop the expertise and skills of the engineering team, including undertaking Shift Engineers' Appraisals - accountable for making decisions.

    Facilities & Maintenance budget
    ~ Strong engineering technical aptitude, ability to understand and manage risk in a technical arena.
    Proven people management skills. Strong project management skills or critical experience gained in delivering capital projects at site level.
    Proven track record in engineering/maintenance disciplines.
    Awareness of MBP (implementation of maintenance best practice).
    Flexible to meet the needs of the busines.
    Experienced people manager with skills in coaching, and performance management.
    Strong project management skills.
    Understanding of financial processes; AOP, PSP, Capex approval, Capital management.
