Description
We are looking for an NMC registered Band 5 staff nurse who is efficient enthusiastic, highly motivated nurse with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in our team on the Acute Medical Unit.
You will be supported to develop as a band 5 staff nurse through preceptorship, peer support and an exciting range of educational opportunities.
Work as a Registered Nurse within a ward team on the Acute Medical Unit including administration of controlled drugs and all prescribed medicines.
Demonstrate high standards of care and set examples of best practice within the delivery of patient care.Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and healthcare practitioners.
Works within the NMC code of practice and professional guidelines.
Undertake such duties from time to time determined by the Co-ordinator and/or Unit Manager.
Provides teaching, guidance, supervision and support for unqualified staff and students where required.
