Experienced Payroll Administrator

3 month fixed term contract / 3 month temporary assignment

Monday to Friday, full time

£25,000 to £27,000 depending on your payroll experience

Crawley - Office based

Our client, a very reputable, national business, with a large office based in Crawley, is looking for an experienced payroll assistant to join their reputable, busy, internal payroll department.


  • Support the Payroll Manager, resolving queries, using your own initiative and reporting back any problems
  • Assisting with the running of monthly payrolls, in particular keying monthly change
  • Updating sickness and holiday records
  • Processing staff starting and returning from maternity/shared parental leave
  • Processing flexible working amendments
  • Calculating adjustments required, including prorata calculations
  • Liaise with People Team, staff and local office Partners on payroll matters
  • Answering queries as arising by phone and Email
  • Assisting with the administration of other Payroll functions as required
  • Ensuring all staff are correctly sited within the firm's accounting structure
  • Ensuring all statutory payments to staff are made correctly
