Our client RMF Group are a leading provider of training and employment support programmes, offering a full suite of services including high-quality construction, skill training, resettlement, and effective labour supply.

Their training and support programmes are designed for a wide range of people with the single goal of providing skills development, to assist them to begin, re-enter, or advance careers.


They are looking for experienced and empathic people who are interested in assisting people through a variety of different stages, such as starting a career, changing careers, or returning to the job market, after a period of absence.

As a learner engagement and employability support practitioner, you will play an important role in assisting people in understanding the variety of programmes available and providing them with the necessary information, advice, and guidance to make the best decision for them.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support resident engagement events and activities and the enrolment of learners onto courses.
  • Undertake tasks that support participants into work such as assisting with essential skills development and other barriers to training or employment;
- disclosure letters, and referrals to other specialist agencies or organisations when necessary.

  • Manage your time and activities safely and effectively, to meet with the priorities and delivery requirements, contributing to achieving the standards of care, quality and positive outcomes required.
  • Arrange and coordinate all aspects of employer engagement/ Job opportunities days (includes sending invites, logging attendance, and followon actions) within our expanding network of prison training and community training centres

Salary:
£22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- working with people seeking employment: 1 year (preferred)
