Are you someone with some Electrical experience and looking to build a career for a business that's been operating for over a century? We have an opportunity with a business that is willing to train people to become Estimators, an opportunity that is incrediblyrare.

Our client
Our client is a family run M&E Contractor based in Yorkshire.

They offer a full range of mechanical and electrical design and installation services for a wide range of clients in the public and private sector.

In addition to this, they also offer maintenance,refrigeration and specialist contract services.

Due to additional secured contracts and repeat work, the Electrical division is currently in a position to expand their workforce.

They are looking for an ambitious, dynamic Electrical Estimator to design andsubmit tenders for all Electrical projects.

The role

Use drawings and specification to produce competitive tenders.
Taking of quantities and inputting into estimating software.
Acquiring specialist quotes and reviewing for tenders.
Submitting and finalising tenders including value engineering.
Review tenders with the Commercial Manager.
Attend meetings to review tenders with main contractors and clients.

Skills and experience:

Ideally Construction specific qualifications.
Relevant Electrical credentials and history of continuous selfdevelopment.
Currently operating in a similar role or looking to take a step up from a trainee.
Experience of problem solving.
Confident and charismatic.
Ideally experience working for an Electrical Contractor.
