Senior Group Accountant - Central London

£65,000 - £75,000 + Great Benefits


This could suit a Group Accountant or Financial Accountant looking for a move, or indeed would be an exciting step up for someone looking to leave an accountancy practice.


GiBe Finance are delighted to be managing an exclusive search to hire a Senior Group Accountant to join one of the world most recognised advertising and marketing companies.


This organisation have a very people centric culture, the really invest in supporting and developing their staff throughout their journey.


The successful Senior Group Accountant is likely to be a qualified accountant (_ACA, ACCA or equivalent)_ and have ideally come from an Audit or Financial Accounting background.


This role is offering the chance to join a large global finance team in London, where the progression and exposure is both achievable and realistic.


The Role


This role sits within their Global Group Finance Team, it is offering lots of exposure to FP&A, country finance teams, sectors and HQ.


If you are a strong accountant with a commercial mindset looking to progress then this could be a great step.

We would envisage someone staying in this role for no longer than 12-18 months. The likely next move would be into commercial finance, FP&A or Audit.

The successful Senior Group Accountant will be involved in the following:

  • Financial and management accounting.
  • Group reporting and consolidations.
  • Balance sheet reviews.
  • US reporting.
  • Board pack preparations.
  • Dashboard and KPI analysis.
  • Group FP&A reporting budgets, forecasts and planning.
  • Act as a key business partner to the country finance teams adding commercial value.
  • Variance analysis looking at trends.
  • Involvement in statutory accounting and audits.
  • Act as a true leader when it comes to processes, controls and systems.
