Job Purpose


The purpose of this role is to assist the Business Controls Manager in ensuring the business complies with internal operational procedures and policies, external legislation and to help improve business efficiencies.


Qualifications required

  • Driving license required as will involve travelling on a National level
  • A-Levels or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to schedule workload and priorities to meet objectives
  • Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Ability to help coordinate and manage projects across a multisite operation
  • Analytical and methodical approach
  • Willingness to learn and challenge

Desirable Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of company systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Maginus System
  • ISO 9001 awareness
  • ISO 14001 awareness
  • FSC/PEFC chain of custody awareness
  • Experience of working in a financial/accounting environment

Key Results Areas

  • Conduct internal branch audits
  • Investigate and provide solutions to problems with internal control processes and compliance
  • Problem solving, investigations, project work and implementations
  • Helping drive continuous improvement to drive bottom line profitability

Salary:
£27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
