THE ROLE
The position is an Assembly Operator. You will support the business by assembling electrical units from various components to produce a finished functional electronic system.

Some of your duties will include:

  • You will assemble wiring and ensure these are fitted exactly as per requirements
  • Various cables, switches and other electrical components will need to be assembled to produce a working electronic system
  • You will also carry out soldering of the above items
  • By carrying out these duties you will be completing finished goods such as fire alarms, or other electronic/digital solutions
  • You will adhere to KPI's set by your line leader or team manager in order to achieve business targets
  • Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your line leader or team leader

THE PERSON


You will be required to work with minimum supervision, adopting a positive and proactive approach to ensure the business achieves it's KPI's and related targets.

An excellent attitude is required for this role as there is an opportunity for this role togo permanent.

  • The person will work to set KPI's and other related targets the business may set
  • You must be willing to undertake any training required for the role
  • Previous experience of working shift rotations is desirable
  • You can demonstrate a good eye for detail and show dextrous skills
  • Experience working in electrical assembly is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided

THE PACKAGE

  • Temp to Perm opportunity with a global business who is a leader in its industry
  • You will earn £9.56 per hour rising to £10.44 after passing probationary period
  • Daily 8hour shifts working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday
  • 2 shift weekly rotation of:
  • Mon to Fri 06:00
  • 14:00
  • Mon to Fri 14:00 22:00
  • Holiday entitlement
  • Additional benefits may be available directly from the employer should your role go permanent
