Dynamic biopharmaceutical start-up, based Canary Wharf London, is seeking a Human Resources Operations Coordinator to start ASAP


This is a temporary HR Operations Coordinator position with the potential for a permanent position
The role is paying £161.00 per day (equivalent to circa £42K per annum)

Working 4 days per week office based in Canary Wharf and the option 1 day per week working from home


HR Operations Specialist

Purpose:


This role is responsible to coordinate and develop core HR processes for HR operations which covers our site in London and field based employees.

Responsibilities include developing processes for employee lifecycle, benefits administration, HRIS systems data integrity and processes, and administer UK based training programs.

In addition, work with the head of HR and Leadership Team to ensure alignment of HR processes, benefits and training programs to meet the needs of the business.


Accountabilities:


Benefits strategy, management, and communication

  • Work with the assigned benefit brokers to develop proposals to ensure the organisation has best in class employee benefits for a nationally based field organization and its London Site with the assigned budget.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive benefits communication plan to ensure the organisation employees fully and utilize benefits available.
  • Ensure systems and processes are in place to help employees manage benefits and support them through issues that need resolving.
  • Provide the Finance team with payroll changes details in a timely manner on a monthly basis.

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) development and process improvement

  • Implement and promote employee selfservice and employee tools
  • Develop content and communication plan for HRIS system to be centre of employee and organizational information.
  • Develop and implement system to ensure Job descriptions are up to date, are in a consistent format, are in a database and meet all GDPR Compliance
  • The person in this role will be accountable for maintaining accurate employee records on all company HR systems.

Training program development and implementation

  • Support the development and delivery of HR Compliance Training curriculum for both management and employees.
  • Develop system to track and monitor attendance for employees that attend outside training programs.
  • Record Video trainings for HR systems and processes.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to expand use of the organisation's Learning Management System to track all Training and create comprehensive employee training files.
  • Develop reporting system and metrics for all company training that includes compliance training, functional training, and technical training.
  • Develop cross company onboarding training.
  • Develop and implement HR Policies as needed.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience in the Biotech /Pharma industry desirable
  • Strong experience in HR operations or an HR administrative role


You'll ideally need to have at least 2 years' HR administration experience (ideally based within the HR team of a medium-large organisation).
