- Processing & submitting personal tax returns and reviewing non-complex tax returns within agreed service and quality standards
- Managing a diverse portfolio of HNWI's, contractors, self-employed individuals, business owners, and non-residents (approx. 150/200 individuals)
- Assisting with ongoing HMRC tax investigations and processing valid tax claims (entrepreneur relief, VCT/EIS relief)
- Collaborating with families and business owners to minimize tax liabilities when possible
- Supporting tax-efficient structures and aiding in corporate re-organizations for tax planning purposes
- Directly liaising with clients on personal tax matters/queries via phone and in person
- Supervising junior personal tax staff under the Manager's guidance
- Ensuring the quality of personal tax work meets agreed cost and timescales, while adhering to the Firm's quality standards
- Coordinating with the assigned Tax Manager to ensure work completion within budget and HMRC tax deadlines

McGinnis Loy Associates is excited to partner with a reputable North London Accountancy Practice in search of a Qualified Personal Tax Senior to join their dynamic team of 20/25 professionals. In this role, you will report to the Personal Tax Manager, making it an ideal opportunity for an ATT qualified or ATT finalist from another mid-tier or Regional Accountancy practice. Your responsibilities will include coaching junior graduates, reviewing personal tax returns, and showcasing Tax advisory expertise and knowledge.
