An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the service administration team for Atlas Copco tools and industrial assembly solutions customer centre located in Wolverhampton.

The role consists of providing administrative support to the service team.

This involves but is not limited to managing the service inbox, processing of incoming requests, answering sales calls and customer enquiries, quotations, sales order processing, sales invoices, as well as inbound and outbound deliveries for the service business line.


Your role
As Service Administrator, you will report to Service Operations Manager.

  • Create and processing of quotations, orders and sales invoices to agreed deadlines using the companies operating systems.
  • To monitor and record the progress of all customer orders through to final completion and invoice.
  • Reduce order delays through proactive daily progress chasing.
  • Process purchase orders to external suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and supplier queries and take appropriate corrective actions such as the return of faulty items and initiating the issuing of credit notes.
  • To arrange the internal approval of local purchasing.
  • Liaise with Credit Control to assist resolution of credit control queries
  • Work with the team to provide proactive admin support to distributors.
  • General office responsibilities including handling sales calls.
  • Keep an accurate and uptodate filing system within the SharePoint library and Windows folders.
  • To cover other job responsibilities in the service admin team as required.
