    Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire

    Contract: Permanent, Full time

    What will you be responsible for?

    As a Commercial Manager, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them to carry out commercial control and governance in the support and delivery of highway maintenance works.

    Your day to day will include:

    • Pricing of works and agreeing prices with the client, change control management (EWN & CE)
    • Risk management and mitigation, contract opportunity development, revenue claims and WiP management, forecasting based on client budgets and annual spends
    • Providing month-end reports, CVR's, subcontract liabilities along with monthly business packs (Commercial elements)
    • Attending client meetings and monthly business reviews and report the contract's commercial performance to the Senior Leadership team
    • Forming part of the Senior Management team on contract, developing and maintaining an effective Commercial team, providing commercial stability and functionality of the contract

    What are we looking for?

    This role of Commercial Manager is great for you if:

    • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, with previous commercial experience in highways or an infrastructure related sector
    • Detailed contract experience using the NEC TSC form of contract and its various options and an understanding of the highway's method of measurement / pricing of highways works
    • Ability to handle large volumes of data, due to the nature of highway maintenance work and evident experience in the control and management of all subcontractor elements
