Quality Coordinator - Poole - £Competitive Salary

This role is office based but will require attendance at construction sites for meetings with suppliers & contractors. This may require overnight stays.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Compliance Manager with contractors and site teams on all Quality matters
  • Promote the Quality Culture, Company Standards, Communication and Information Sharing
  • Ensure all Quality policies and procedures are implemented by all workers onsite and offsite
  • Ensure all ITPS and revised specifications are formally distributed and received by the relevant contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure that protective coating inspections, nondestructive testing of welds, visual and dimensional inspections are being carried out by the supply chain in accordance with the contracted requirements
  • Liaise with Divisional Project/Production Managers to ensure all subcontractors are included in the inspection programme
  • Review Structural Steelwork Specification to gain a clear understanding of the clients requirements
  • Attend Quality meetings and report relevant information back to the site/management team

Skills & Experience:

  • Essential knowledge of Steel Fabrication Inspection
  • Visual Weld Inspection Qualification and ICORR Level 2 Coating Inspection
  • PC Literate with Microsoft programmes
  • Ability to work accurately on own initiative with a high level of selfmotivation
  • Capable of hands on problemsolving and able to generate ideas and solutions
  • Flexible approach to changing workload patterns and the ability to react to changing situations
  • Clean, full driving licence
