What? Finance Assistant

Where? Brighton / Hybrid Working

How much? £26,000 pa

Responsibilities:


  • Credit control
  • Bank activity processing and reconciliation
  • Handling cash and credit card sales with reconciliation
  • Processing purchase ledger including support with prepayments and accruals
  • Preparing supplier, commission and payments
  • Processing journals where required
  • Maintain Fixed Asset register with depreciation
  • Maintain supporting records as required (i.e. utilities spreadsheet)
  • Support with payroll processing
  • Support with budget monitoring and cost analysis
  • Month end/year end duties as required
  • Any other duties as required

Skills and Professional experience:


  • Accountancy experience in a commercial or professional work environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with Xero general ledger software (preferred)
