Salary Range £32,982 to £38,205 Pro-rata


Edinburgh College of Art

Applications are invited for a Guaranteed Hours (GH), open ended contract as a Tutor in the School of Art on the following courses:

ARTX08090 Art in Practice hours)

ARTX0__ Art in Practice hours)

ARTX10048 Artistic Research:
Themes and methods (80 hours)


ARTX10051 Contemporary Artistic Research (60 hours)

ARTX08088 Adventures in Drawing (66 hours)


We are seeking to appoint a Tutor with a contemporary fine art practice, to join a team of teaching staff contributing to learning and teaching at undergraduate level.


The Opportunity:


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A practising artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience of contemporary art practice
  • Ability to work within a team with a collegial attitude, respect and sensitivity toward students and other staff members.
  • Good communication skills An enthusiastic, positive and creative approach to teaching

Edinburgh College of Art is a large and diverse school within the University of Edinburgh's College of Humanities and Social Science.

It comprises Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Art, Design, History of Art and Music.
