Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Locum People Team Lawyer.


Duties of the role include:

  • Providing professional support to the team leaders, head of service, and director
  • Managing a heavy workload of adult social care/education work including Care Act 2014, Court of Protection, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty and Mental Health, and SEN Tribunal work.
  • Working autonomously and as part of a team, prioritising workloads to meet the needs of the customer and the service
  • Giving sound/practical legal advice
  • Undertaking complex legal research
  • Acting as an advocate in courts and tribunals when necessary
  • Any other duties as required
This position is a temporary contract until June 2023, working full time Monday-Friday 9-5, paying £19.98ph.
