Technical Clerk:
What you need to know about the role
Working within our Ironmaking Technical team you will be responsible for the collection and entry of daily figures relating to material consumption and production operations across all ironworks plants used to determine stock levels and production performance.
Stock level management and reconciliation is key to ensuring stock losses are identified and accounted for. You will also complete ad-hoc requests for production data.Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collection and entry of ironworks production and movement figures into model
- Sense checking received reports and model outputs
- Entry of outputs into SAP
- Creation and issuing of production reports
- Reconciliation of stock against SAP figures
- Carry out management and improvement activities of excel model
What we need to know about you
To be successful in the role you will have previous experience in a similar record keeping or administrative role alongside experience using MS Office packages, SAP and experience creating and working with excel based process models.
You will have the ability to learn new processes quickly and map physical activities to entries into a digital model with a strong desire to 'get the correct answer'.
