The Role:


What will I do:

Champion People and business change initiatives and transformation

Lead the People Services & Reward team to ensure support is available for any escalations whilst continually enhancing their capabilities and knowledge

Continuously improve the way we do things and help the business manage the changes needed

Translate key data and metrics into effective and commercially focused management information, working with senior management and influencing them on the best course of action

Provide company-wide information by interpreting people data and analysing figures on employee turnover

Oversee complex employee relation issues such as grievance and disciplinary cases and manage difficult employment relation cases

Ensure all company policies are fit for purpose and in line with our tone of voice and culture

Support Business Partners with restructure and organisational change plus coaching managers and leading where necessary

Manage all TUPE situations and counsel senior management on appropriate legal practice

Lead on special projects and ensure the delivery of key people strategy initiatives

Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities

Ensure employee benefits provide a return on investment always looking to enhance and improve our offering

Ensure there is a clear and fair pay approach policy and process in place to enable ANS to remain competitive


What will I bring:

Previous experience in a senior role within a fast paced People Team

Able to problem solve and demonstrate operational and strategic skills

Experience of acting as a role model is essential and leading teams

Comfortable in developing team members and empowering staff

Demonstrate commercial and business acumen

Evidence of having a passion for working with people and working beyond the confines of the job description

Outstanding communication skills - able to deliver bad news and give it a positive outlook as well as ability to influence Leadership Team members

Proven organisation skills and ability to prioritise.


Experience Required:

Degree in business administration, human resources management or even a law degree is desirable.


Ideally you will be CIPD qualified with evidence of continuous professional development or have significant experience in a similar role.
