About The Role

This is an office-based role whose primary purpose is to ensure that appropriate actions are taken in response to customers reporting mould or disrepair in their homes.

These actions will often require a surveyor to attend and you will need to communicate closely with two surveyors, helping with the arrangement of inspections with customers, organising their reports, photographs and other documents, and when necessary issuing works orders to contractors.

You are expected to acquire a good understanding of mould and disrepair so that you can hold informed conversations with residents concerning management of mould and understand the objectives of our actions.

You will need to liaise directly residents throughout their journey with us.

Ownership, Innovation, Teamwork and Inclusion and incorporate them in their working day.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and will be able to learn surveying specific software.

You will also need prior experience communicating clearly and confidently with customers in writing, over the phone, and in person.

The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines and priorities is also required for this role, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure when dealing with customer complaints, changes to plans, or issues with contractors.
