Aarushi Kaushal
Healthcare
About Aarushi Kaushal:
I have completed my internship training (FY1), passed my PLAB1 & PLAB 2 examinations and I am currently doing a clinical attachment in the TOPAS Ward (The Older Person’s Assessment Service Ward) in Milton Keynes under Central and North West London Trust.
During my FY1, I had the opportunity to rotate through several specialities. Out of all the specialities, I found myself drawn to the field of Psychiatry. Having been an advocate for mental wellbeing among my family and friends, I believe this field will give me immense opportunities to expand my knowledge and work with troubled individuals who are in need of professional help.
I believe that personal qualities such as being hardworking, an active listener, having good interpersonal skills and empathy will help me become a better doctor in the coming years.
I am looking for a non-training job at the FY2 level, SHO or a Clinical Fellow.
