A Music Business, Music Performance, and Vocal Performance educator and practitioner, with over 20 years of experience at Guest Lecturer, Visiting Lecturer, and Senior Lecturer levels, with a dedication to enhancing the student academic experience. I have gained extensive knowledge of teaching on BTEC, BA, BMus, and MA programs, and I have significant experience in producing online training programs. 

I am Senior Vice President, Artist & Business Development for tech start-up BrooveUP, a Blockchain-powered Artist & Label Services platform with a 360-degree artist-to-fan revenue model.

During my 12 years at the University of Westminster, I was an integral member of the team tasked with shaping, redesigning, and writing courses & modules. I have 15 years of exposure to international exchange programs, working alongside practitioners from Germany, Holland, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and the USA, which have enhanced my teaching practices, and extended my networks considerably. During this period, I have developed a passion (and strong appreciation) for simulated learning. Recognizing its value in improving the professional practices of students.

I have over 30 years of experience as a music industry practitioner. Since 2004 I have been involved in Talent Management & Development. Clients I represent have won Grammy Awards, MOBO Awards, GEMA Awards, Headie Awards, UMA Awards, and Broadworld Awards. And have appeared as finalists in The Voice and X-Factor.

My experience as a Recording Artist, Concert Promoter, Music Business Consultant, Project Director, and Independent Label founder put me in a unique position to understand and relate to viewpoints from both sides of the music industry divide. However, my passion for teaching comes from a desire to see creatives develop practices and cultures that make conditions better for themselves. A significant proportion of my career in the music industry has also been committed to activities intended to change conditions for black music creatives.
