Adrian Bamforth

I'm an illustrator and graphic designer with experience in publishing, comics, storyboards, games, advertising and web. I've illustration work has been published in 2000ad and Heavy Metal Magazine, I've storyboarded dozens of advertising campaigns, illustrated a card game, produced concept art for a computer game, and I currently draw and write humour strips for the legendary Viz comic.
 

I have also worked as graphic designer at Canterbury College, producing several course guides a year plus press ads, online ads, internal documents, infographics, exhibition stands, animations, social media content and other print and online marketing materials, using Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis. Prior to that I worked freelance for several years as a designer and illustrator for various clients, including Templar Books, 2000AD, Heavy Metal Magazine and Microsoft, and produced storyboards for many well-known brands via Monkey Puzzle Studio. I also worked in-house at a games studio producing concept art, where I was first introduced to 3D software and Adobe Creative Suite. I have most recently worked for Porchlight charity (a maternity cover role), producing print and online marketing, while broadening my skills by undertaking an online qualification in web development and responsive design.
 

My work in graphic design and illustration has honed my ability to generate ideas and convey information visually using composition, colour and typography.
