Experience
Customer Assistant
Tescos – Havant July 2023 to present.
I am currently employed at Tescos in Havant and am contracted to work 3 days a week but very often work overtime as well. I work within a small team to keep our specific area well-stocked and tidy. I am also trained to assist in multiple different areas, including checkouts and personal shopping, and am often called to help out multiple times in a shift. This job has opened my eyes to how a business functions and how important each member in a team is for the running of a large company such as Tescos.
McDonalds Crew Member
McDonalds - Waterlooville July 2022 to July 2023
I was an employee at McDonald’s Waterlooville from July 2022 until July 2023. I worked there 2/3 days a week, working 8 hour shifts every time. I would often work directly with customers where I would present food, manage money and answer queries.I thoroughly enjoy the fast-paced environment and believe I gained skills in good communication and customer service.
Hairdressing Assistant
Jaquelines hair salon - Horndean February 2022 to June 2022
I was employed in a small hairdresser in Horndean as a Saturday girl for around 5 months. I was expected to carry out multiple tasks throughout the salon such as hair washing, cleaning and making refreshments. Here, I developed my skills in customer service, listening to requests from customers and time management.
Dance Teaching Assistant
Showstoppers stage school - Horndean November 2019 to March 2020
I supervised children from ages 3-11 in their dance class and assisted the teacher in making sure choreography is remembered and performed tidily. These classes ranged in many different styles, including acrobatics, teaching me the importance of vigilance when supervising safety. I also made sure safety and wellbeing was upheld for the dancers by observing and responding to their needs.
Education
I am currently working towards a Level Three Diploma in Dance and Performing Arts, predicted to acheive a distinction.
Additionally, I have achieved 8 GCSES ranging from grades 5-9.
