Activities Coordinator Acacia House, Abode Care Aug 2024 – Jan 2025  Plan and organise a variety of engaging activities and events for participants.  Assess the interests and abilities of participants to tailor activities accordingly.  Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of activities.  Manage the budget, supplies, and equipment needed for activities.  Promote activities by creating and distributing promotional materials.  Monitor and evaluate the success of activities and gather feedback for continuous improvement.  Ensure safety and compliance with regulations and organisational policies during activities.  Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participant feedback.

Senior Health Care Assistant Barchester Homes, Ashminster House Feb 2024 – Aug 2024  Ensures that a safe work environment is upheld by following Health and Safety Legislation.  Ensures that all COSHH regulations are followed.  Heavily supports safeguarding of residents, raises reports and deals with day to day issues.  Supports residents of the home in their day to day activities.  Supports residents in their personal care including washing, bathing, showers, oral hygiene and continence care whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism, privacy and dignity to the resident  Serves meals to residents and supports them during meal times.Support with mobility and transfers using specialist lifting/support equipment such as hoist and stand aids.  Performs Hourly and Daily checks, in line with policies, procedures and district nurse feedback.  Changing of Bed Linen and ensures that bathrooms are kept in safe order throughout the day, including changes of Towels and Flannels.  Supports Kitchen Staff to ensure meals are prepared and each residents dietary requirements are met.  Ensures that residents are comfortable and able to take part in leisure activities.  Counter signs for administration of controlled medication to ensure residents receive correct doses of medication and are always kept safe.  Administer Controlled Medication as prescribed  Assist with ordering medication, contacting GP and Adult Social care  Lead 2+ carers on shift, ensuring activities are completed to the necessary standards  Set Allocations for each carer to ensure everyone is cared for fully
