About Amel Ben:

I am a 4th year PhD student in Applied Linguistics in Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. I am investigating language attitudes and language choice in a multilingual context. My project will end in three months and I will graduate as a university English teacher.  I am experienced in teaching English as a foreign language and Arabic to English speakers. I also work as an interpreter in Arabic, English, and French.

  • I have experience in giving private lessons in French and English for primary, middle school and high school pupils.
  • I worked as an Arabic teacher for non-Arabic speakers in Kent, UK.
