About Amy Madden:
I am planning to move into a history research degree (completed remotely) in 2023 and am looking to add to my portfolio of part time employment roles to support and fund this. I can look at any virtual role up to around 20 hours a week, and can offer longer hours than this during academic holidays (Christmas, Easter and July/August).
I am available for remote work throughout the week including evenings and weekends- I previously combined the Ops Manager role (full time weekday split shift) with the Consultant role (weekend oncall) and my MLitt study (graduated with Distinction) so I know it can be done comfortably.
I am accustomed to working split shifts to accommodate different timezones and time sensitive customer demands. I will be working remotely from home in central Scotland.
My work experience is varied across a variety of industries and has centred on customer service, supply chain and planning roles. I am computer literate with experience of a range of office, database and planning software. I am comfortable covering anything from routine office administration and "tidying up" through to customer service and then to more sophisticated data analysis and process management. My Ops Manager role was with a start up which often meant pitching in on anything that needed to be done from financial forecasting to tech support to filing emails; with my current role I have responsibility for covering all business functions over the weekends.
