I am a professional, who has finished his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University in
Manchester. Throughout my career, I have worked mostly as a full stack engineer at multiple
companies, such as Cisco International Ltd. and American Express. I have had the opportunity and privilege to work on many multifarious projects that have broadened my technical skill set
substantially I am grateful for the opportunities I have had. More recently, I had a breakthrough to a more senior role at Avalara, which has given me the opportunity to lead by example as well as allow others to shine and improve their technical prowess.

Secondly, my programming skill set could be a great asset for a company's business requirements, as I already have 8 years programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, GoLang, Java, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB. I have started working with these programming languages and databases in my high school and university years and have become quite proficient in them throughout my career.

Thirdly, on a personal level, I am a friendly and fun to interact with person, that recommends me as a
good team player, skill which I have developed through my previous professional and academic
experiences.

Last but not least, more  recently I have managed to develop my DevOps knowledge by working with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes + Helm, Gitlab Pipelines, SumoLogic, Prometheus, Datadog, Terraform and AWS to help develop the architecture / release process for many projects throughout my career.

Senior Sotware Engineer - 09/2021 – current

• Developed / managed the development the team’s infrastructure (using Terraform / Kubernetes + Helm / OpenResty) for several projects and integrated projects with logging tools, such as SumoLogic, or monitoring via Prometheus / Grafana.
• Developed / managed the development of multiple teams’ CI/CD pipelines: AWS deployments to ECS / EC2 (Terraform), EKS (Kubernetes / Helm), code quality checks (NPM lint / Sonarqube), unit testing (Jest / C#), UI testing (Nightwatch / Cypress), performance testing (BlazeMeter), functional API testing (Newman / Postman), automatic Git releases and Slack notifications.
• Contributed to open-source codebase Haplo that company’s product relies on; introducing various new features such as LCOV test coverage report generation to accurately report our codebase test coverage.
• Fully integrated company’s offering built on Haplo with VisualPing to monitor changes on government websites and, to automatically update our tax related data based on said changes.
• Contributed to existing APIs and developed new services based on features that we envisioned alongside the business.
• Integrated Renovate in our organization to ensure that dependencies (i.e NPM, C#, Terraform) used by teams are up-to-date.
• Took the role of Scrum Lead for the course of 10 agile sprints and orchestrated most of the agile team ceremonies and direction.

• Worked for 6 months as part of a special task force (relocated to San Francisco) that looked at integrating two Cisco offerings (Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Meraki) into a single package.
• Managed and worked on offering that helps a user to manage a set of access keys for accessing different services through a third party API Gateway tool.
• Managed the development of a globally accessible tool that inspects web traffic and, based on user configuration and traffic, flags data leaks in a high fidelity report.
• Developed a website for a homeless shelter foundation

• Contributed and provided maintenance to the new American Express landing page by offering a highly customizable solution to our Project Managers.
• Worked on platform that allows American Express card members to manage card specific bonuses or benefits.
• Worked on platform that allows American Express card members to find airport lounges

Technology Summer Intern 06/2015 – 08/2015

• Developed a website that allows AmEx card members to submit stories that describe their experience with the company.
• Co-developed the front-end for an internal application that offers a visual representation of the tools that the company uses.
• Co-developed the front-end for a web application for a recruiting event at the Bristol and Loughborough universities.
