I currently work as a supervisor and operations manager at New Look. In my role I oversee the day-to-day operations within the store as well as confidently leading and supporting a large team of 20 plus colleagues.

Experience

November 2021 to Present - New Look

Supervisor responsibilities: 

  • Opening and Closing of the site - keyholder.
  • Daily cash reconciliation activities - daily cashing up, final end of week cash up and safe count.
  • Scheduling day to day tasks via daily deployment rotas.
  • Analyzing daily, weekly and monthly reports, implementing numbers into effect via visual merchandising and utilizing this to promote growth within the store.
  • Confidently sharing company updates, financial results, activity updates, and new objectives with team members and management via daily team talks.
  • Assisting in any customer related issues, such as refund disputes, customer complaints.
  • Health & Safety, filling out weekly and monthly compliance and audits. 
  • Handling P.O.S, implementing correct placement onto the shop floor and window displays
  • Making sure deliveries are correctly processed and correctly allocating stock, whilst arranging new lines and merchandise according to popularity and other criteria.
  • Overseeing shrinkage such as monitoring the shop floor for known theft.
  • Communicating via radios both internally and externally.
  • Attending weekly and monthly conference calls - in person and via teams.
  • Providing territory support to other stores by covering multiple sites as a lone supervisor for the day.
  • Overseeing standard compliance and regulation.

New Look - Lancaster

October 2019 to April 2022 - New Look

Sales Advisor responsibilities:

  • Till operation, serving on tills, issuing refunds 
  • Ensuring KPI’s are met by capturing customer details for online communications and orders.
  • Having an extensive knowledge of stock.
  • Upholding fitting room standards.
  • Handling communication between other stores, customer services and the customers themselves, via telephone, email etc
  • Processing deliveries and merchandising into the correct department.
