Atanas Chelibashki

As a third-year Software Development with Cyber Security student at the University of Stirling, I am proficient in Java programming and web-based projects, as well as the design and implementation of PL/SQL systems. My primary goal is to contribute to the development of real-world solutions that enhance productivity and improve the quality of life.

Throughout my academic journey, I have participated in several Ethical Hacking courses, gaining hands-on experience in network scanning, packet sniffing, and executing exploits on test machines using Kali Linux. This experience has also allowed me to acquire knowledge in setting up virtual machines and establishing virtual networks with VirtualBox.

In the long term, I aspire to expand my expertise in low-level programming and robotics. My interests lie in the realm of IoT security, with a particular focus on enhancing the security of our personal digital spaces.

During my professional career, I have gained valuable experience in customer service and logistics through various roles. From June 2020 to September 2020, I worked as a Courier at Pegasus, where I was responsible for delivering parcels in a polite, resourceful, and professional manner. My duties included planning daily routes, ensuring proper parcel condition, and addressing customer inquiries using a parcel tracking system.

Prior to this, I served as a Delivery Driver at Domino's from February 2017 to August 2019. In this fast-paced environment, I was part of a team that coordinated delivery routes, prepared orders, and provided excellent customer service both on the phone and in-store. I was also responsible for managing the coordination of goods between different store locations to maintain sufficient inventory levels.

Furthermore, from July 2015 to February 2017, I was a Crew Member at Burger King. In this role, I efficiently and courteously served customers at the till, resulting in a 15% improvement in service time. Additionally, I ensured that all customer orders were served according to high standards.

My education has provided me with a strong foundation in software development and cyber security. I am currently enrolled in a BSc Software Development with Cyber Security program at the University of Stirling, where I am expected to graduate with a 2:1 degree. Prior to this, I completed an HND in Computing at Forth Valley College from August 2021 to June 2022.

In addition, I have earned several industry certifications that further demonstrate my commitment to the Information Technology sector. These include Oracle Database SQL 1Z0-071 Certified Associate, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I 1Z0-808 Associate, Oracle Java Foundations 1Z0-811 Associate, and CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certified.

Overall, my educational background and certifications have prepared me for varied and challenging internships or entry-level positions within the Information Technology sector, enabling me to gain hands-on experience and learn new skills.
