Current Personal Project:

Currently, I am working on a project called "Greener Solution," a Blog/News Site with a CMS. The mission behind this project is to actively combat carbon emissions through innovative solutions and promote environmental advocacy by empowering individuals to share their insights and experiences through impactful blog posts. Technologies I'm using for this project include Tiptap editor, Prisma, Next.js, React, Styled-Components, TypeScript, Cloudinary, Axios, Bcrypt, Joi, React-Select, and Slugify.

Professional Experiences:

I have been working as a Freelance Software Engineer with RedLions - NFT Panama since October 6, 2022, focusing on NextJS projects with TypeScript. In this role, I've developed and deployed various web applications using the NextJS framework, enhancing type safety and code maintainability. I've also utilized Prisma for efficient database interaction with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. Additionally, I created a Discord bot that fetched smart contract data, providing real-time updates to users, and implemented visually appealing designs using Styled Components and Sass. I have experience in integrating content management systems like Contentful for dynamic content delivery.

1st Personal Project:

One of my early projects, "JOBMEDIATELY," was developed to streamline job applications for low-skilled workers in specific industries. I built a full-stack app using HTML, CSS, React, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM. This solo project included creating user stories, utilizing Kanban boards for task management, designing using Figma, constructing a relational database with an ERD diagram, implementing authentication with bcrypt and JWT, and utilizing cloud services like ElephantSQL. I also incorporated React Router for UI navigation.

Career Change:

My career change into web development began with the Boolean Software Development Course, a 6-month full-stack coding academy. This program equipped me with the skills to transform user requirements into high-quality software. I worked on team development projects, practiced agile methodologies, and gained experience in version control practices. Prior to my web development journey, I worked as a driver from 2013 to 2021, gaining diverse industry experience.
