Summer Internship @ Hamilton Robson - Belfast

Applied Agile methodologies, including Daily Scrum and Kanban, using Trello to prioritise tasks and enhance team efficiency. Through this summer internship, I worked on two key projects:

BeaconIQ:

• First-level support for large global IoT product roll out.
• Commissioning and configuring IoT hardware utilising Linux environments.
• Planned and managed global product shipments and controlled stock of hardware devices.
• Streamlined operations by using AWS services like DynamoDB and CloudWatch, enhancing support efficiency.
• Tested API endpoints with Postman to query DynamoDB to monitor sensors, ensuring reliable IOT performance

Staff Onboarding Automation:

• Gathered business requirements across multiple senior stakeholders.
• Designed and developed complex business processes using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Conducted User Acceptance Testing to validate workflows in real-world scenarios, identifying and resolving issues effectively.
• Delivered a live demonstration to senior stakeholders and wrote documentation, including flowcharts for project workflows.
