I have worked in care off and on for over 35 years. I thoroughly enjoy delievering care and find it very rewarding. I have myNVQ3 Health and Social Care and other short courses I have recently completed such as mental capacity, dementia and end of life. I am very eager to learn and better myself. I am hardworking, flexible, and reliable. I go above and beyond in my job role to ensure I am completing each task to a high standard and all care is person centered around their needs and choices.

I have train the trainer which I did in 2019 so I am up to date with current moving and handling legislation and ensure this is in practice at all times, I do moving and handling nearly everyday and train the carers on how to do it correctly. I work closely with Social Workers, Physiopherapists, Occupational Therapists, DNs and Service Users Families, so I have good communication skills and can handle all situations in a professional manner.

I update Service users careplans and risk assessments on a daily basis, so I am aware of how to complete paperwork giving factual information. During this if I believe the service user requires more assistance e.g physio, equipment or more care needed, I will inform the relevent people to ensure this is managed quickly to prevent any risks to the service user,

I am currently a Quality Senior which means I work very closely to carers, building work relationsips and trust, so they can come to me with any issues they may have or advice/guidence.

I would really appriciate the chance to start a career  building on my knowledge and taking on new challenges, 

QCF level 3 a number of short courses and I have train the trainer and my advanced first aid certificate
