About Beverley Rose:
I’m a B2b marketing communications and stakeholder engagement professional. I make the complicated easy to understand, can pick up and support required marcomms deliverables very quickly, and have a proven ability to translate complex technical content into clear, compelling messaging to drive engagement and advocacy.
I’ve worked within the regulated B2b STEM sectors for the last 20 years, have recently written a book on how to develop B2b marketing communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, and in Q4 2024, was recognised by LinkedIn Editors as a leading voice for STEM sector marketing.
Over the last 2 decades, I’ve successfully developed and delivered x14 B2b marketing communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to help achieve internal change, and improve business growth, advocacy and policy / standards / DCO applications development, for organisations operating within the regulated STEM sectors, including: aviation, engineering, ICT, infrastructure (nationally significant programmes), major accident hazard / COMAH industries, manufacturing, membership and the UK government’s environmental ministerial body - DEFRA.
My marketing and engagement strategies tend to annoy higher market share competitors, as I include analysed audience research findings, opportunities and drivers in awareness campaigns, which increases profile and market positioning.

Some examples of recent relevant projects
- 2023 Dept. for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Marketing Communications, Stakeholder Engagement and New Programme Launch strategy for UK Government’s Defra’s £140 million flagship programme. A nationally significant Biodiversity, Ecosystems and Natural Asset, long-term environmental census, called the Terrestrial Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment (tNCEA) Programme aligned to the UK Government’s 25 year environmental plan
- 2021-2022 Cogent Skills. Influencing stakeholder advocacy engagement campaign – Prepare for Net Zero/ Celebrating 20,000 Process Safety Management (PSM) Champions. A stakeholder advocacy, market assurance, positioning, thought leadership and awareness campaign targeting the UK COMAH and high hazard sectors – aiming to improve process safety and competency skills. Worked with key industry stakeholders: Chemical Industries Association, IChemE, HSE, EA, PSM Board, Unilever, PX ltd. Achieved 9 deliverables. £750,000 inbound lead from Seven Trent Water for PSM consultancy services (DSEAR, Human Factors & PSM).
- 2020. Systra Engineering. Change comms internal engagement for new ownership ROLL OUT to x 1000+ staff. Oversaw all internal and external comms and marketing deliverables in preparation for the integration and launch of TSP Projects to SYSTRA Ltd. Working closely with the Change Integration Project Manager and HR Director, I led on requirements such as: re-brand, internal communications, day 1 hive-up launch and interim external marketing. Developed key messages / lines to take, content planning for internal and external audiences, social media advice guide, hive-up welcome film and intro pack, plus communications content assets for - alignment, recognition & appreciation pieces, BAU and extraordinary/emergency external articles (COVID-19 response), digital and comms platforms systems set-up
- 2018-2019. Arcadis UK Consulting Ltd. Change comms & internal employee engagement for 2500 UK & international workforce – Infrastructure division. I created a marketing communications strategy and delivery approach plan. Within 1 year, I delivered the following marketing communications content:
- External comms: Delivered collaborative industry speaking opportunities with client Highways England, industry exhibitions and speaker management, along with writing over 60 case studies, internal news and award win articles.
- Internal comms: Developed a content framework of deliverables, which included intranet management (SharePoint), news articles, knowledge shares and SLT management updates via live broadcast events, capabilities and achievements film production, plus recognition initiatives
Reporting to the Infrastructure MD and working closely with the UK central marketing department, I developed strategy and delivered digital and traditional internal and external communications for the following:
- Infrastructure Senior Leadership Team. Marketing communications and events management, speaking opportunities (via industry associations, conferences and membership bodies), articles, films and PR content to support external thought leadership, news articles and solutions knowledge shares (capabilities and achievements).
- Major Projects DESIGN JOINT VENTURE (DJV) Solutions based comms re: capabilities and achievements for:
- High Speed 2 (HS2) Limited – including re-brand of design joint venture identity
- Digital Railways Programme (Network Rail).
- A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Project (Highways England)
- Manchester Airports Group (MAG)
- 2017-2020. National Highways via Arcadis UK and Amey Engineering Consultants. Stakeholder communications and engagement for A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Duelling Project, for official development consent order (DCO) application.
- 2013 ATG Airports (manufacturer). New product launch strategy - for new airfield ground lighting LED product. Achieved £40m inbound leads, with market research findings informing new LED AGL standards for the Civil Aviation Authority regulator.
- 2008 TAS Engineering Consultants. Market positioning and growth strategy. Thought leadership & awareness, focused on electrical arc flash specialism. Doubled gross turnover from £1.3m to £2.6m over 2 years and became a thought leader in electrical safety engineering
