Dec 2005 – Dec 2006                                              MITIE MEM

I was responsible for a mixture of maintenance and installation works.  I spent a lot of my time at the National blood service and Virgin Rail contracts. The work was very enjoyable, but I was continually being approached by Dalkia to return to head the new projects department.

November 2000 – Dec 2005                                              Dalkia plc

My initial position was as a project electrician. My duties involved minor installation work throughout the Dalkia Prime contract.  I was transferred to maintenance and spent the next 18 months working on reactive duties as a mobile engineer. I was then asked to return to the project division and spent over a year as supervisor for the small team of engineers, dealing with quoting, contractors and most importantly the customer. In December 2005 Dalkia closed down the department and made all the members of the team redundant.

1987 – 2001                                                  Self-Employed

Between 1987 and 2001, I became self employed doing a variety of works.

I worked at various electrical contractors over the next five years, undertaking a wide range of works ranging from domestic to commercial and industrial.

Served apprenticeship with Deva electrical. The majority of the work was commercial and industrial, electrical installation.
