Fatema Khanom

Working with children is something I have always been passionate about. As a child myself at the time, I chose to volunteer at childline to work around vulnerable children. I then chose to complete and open degree which allows me to have a wider range of skills and experience regarding working with children. I’ve complete school placements and also my own research dissertation studies specifically on children. Although this will play a great role to work, I feel that my passion alone is what will make me the best candidate. My work ethic is strong due to this and I will always remain motives because this will not just be a job to me. It will be something of great importance to me. I am motivated by the idea of helping or impacting at least one child’s life in a positive way and that alone is enough job satisfaction. I have worked at the Radclyffe school and I am currently working at Oldham college. This has given me the relevant experience and confidence I need to progress further in my career. It has also cemented my passion for working within an education environment. I have dealt with both challenging and excellent behaviour; the outcome has been very rewarding to me.

I have worked within the early years setting as well as other educational settings. 

I have a degree in early years and childhood studies as well as a TEFL.
