  • Managed the daily PR activities for a diverse portfolio of clients within the travel industry, including a FTSE 250-listed company and a number of other leading organisations.
  • Heavily involved in long-term strategy discussions and implementation, working closely with the CEO and Managing Director to align strategies with clients' objectives and ensuring their vision was effectively realised.

  • Successfully delivered on or exceeded expectations on every 12 month programme I worked on.

  • Produced monthly, quarterly and annual reports detailing activity and analysing key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Beginning in this role on the day the UK went into lockdown as a result of the pandemic, I was required to grow into this role quickly and independently, and in uncertain circumstances.
  • Despite not be able to visit the patch I was covering during my first four months in the role, I became a valuable member of the team, finding compelling news stories by engaging with members of the community, emergency services and local organisations, and producing quality content both for the newspaper and for online audiences.
  • After six months in the role, I was made the senior reporter of the Bridport News (a sister publication of the Dorset Echo). I thrived during my time in this role, working independently to take on the responsibility of sourcing and producing fresh news content for the newspaper.
