Brendan Walker

I'm currently a hotel receptionist and have been on reception for 7 years looking to move from hospitality to office like work to im prove my work and homelife balance.

  I love meeting new people and taking on new skills. I love driving and my work in hotel reception means im good talking to all sorts of people. I'm good with all kinds of situations and work well on microsoft office.  I have a great telephone manor and emails are my forte. I work with commission statements making sure they are correct for the hotel so i think I have a good eye for detail. 

I have a keen nature of helping out and going above and beyond to make the experience rememberable. Always willing to change and help improve work life or make things flow more easier.

I currently work at shepherd neame for 3 years, firstly as a night porter then a reception leader and I have been on a hotel reception now for 7 years. Im currently a manager at The Bell Hotel in Sandwich.

In Kent I started working at the Abode in Canterbury and then found shepherd neame where i stayed.

I went to school and all my education in hertfordshire, where I was born and bread. I have A level equivalent in english and maths and also passed my driving test there.

My schools where Thomas Alleyne's School in Stevenage and then went on to college at North herts college in stevenage.  This is where most of my learning was done.
