I live alone & did cook for the family when here & still do it for myself & friend when we go on weekends away. I do the housework, cleaning, washing, ironing & shopping both locally & online. I am fit & well, no physical problems. I have a car with zero points, it may need to be changed to business use!  

I looked after my late wife for 4 years due to cancer, I always did the cooking  all of us. I worked for almost 1 year as a Live-in carer, I looked after older Women & Men all had pads that need changing or all had odd issues, which I had to clean up & make smell better! Most could wash themselves a little , But Backs & below need were often difficult areas, I had to help with, some had trouble getting hands to head so need help washing hair or head. I have cooked for some & joined them with the meal. I insure house is kept clean & tidy if possible & I do enjoy a chatt as I live alone now. 

I did 4 day training including lift, hosting & pushing wheelchairs, first aid, learning about others needing care due to mental issues (dementia, etc), care plans & medication. About family when they arrive, have a bit of time off! I do have a Care Certificate & record of what was done to pass the Certificate, including safeguarding most common fault in my opinion neglect!
