OCTOBER 2022 – FEBRUARY 2023 MANCHESTER AIRPORT (MAG MANCHESTER AIRPORT GROUP) 

TRAFFIC MARSHALL 

 

Traffic Marshalls are responsible for overall smooth running of traffic around the airport and Multi Storey car parks, from passengers being dropped off and picked up to providing directions, issuing penalty charges and dealing with breakdowns and flat tyres. 

 

APRIL 2022 - OCTOBER 2022 PURATOS 

NIGHT TIME HYGIENIST

 

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of all production vessels and equipment and flooring is thoroughly cleaned, prepared and ready for use the following day. 
  •  
  • Run CIP to clean the Aseptic vessels (Premix and Cooling), Clean production vessels with use of chemicals Inc flushing equipment, such as metal detectors, pumps etc. Strip, clean and replace all vessel pipework, clean floors, walls etc, set up equipment ready for the following day.

SECURITY AMBASSADOR 

 

Ambassadors are the heart and foundation of the security team here at MAG. In this vital role you will:

 

Host the entrance to security central search areas, effectively preparing passengers for presentation at the boarding card readers and x-rays.

 

Assisting passengers in loading their trays - this means ensuring their items are presented correctly for x-ray screening and they're profiled for items to be screened by x-ray to reduce the number of rejected trays.

 

Taking ownership and managing numerous queues in and around the central search areas and prioritise any passengers whose flights may be departing within a short period of time.

 

Ensuring that flow remains compliant with security regulation.

 

Providing professional, timely and accurate information to our passengers.

 

Ensuring that all specified service standards are maintained and that passengers receive excellent customer service as they move through the Terminals security process in a safe and efficient manner.

 

JANUARY 2019 - AUGUST 2020 (PT) LATERAL DESIGN STUDIO LTD –SALES PRODUCTION & CUSTOMER SERVICE (FREELANCE) RETURNED TO ASSIST DURING A BUSY PERIOD. 

Working alongside the rest of the Lateral Design Studio team and responsible for providing a great customer experience from project start to finish, dealing with customer enquiries, providing quotations and liaising with customers, architects, engineers to produce exceptional bespoke drainage products.

 

 

NOV 18 - DEC 18 ROYAL MAIL - CHRISTMAS CASUAL SORTER - NORTH WEST PSC.

 

Sorting customer parcels and mail over the Christmas period from scanning track 24/48 to sorting primary tracked and primary second class as well as secondary sort.

Also unloading and loading wagons to sorting various catalogues for distribution by local sorting centres whilst always keeping a safe working zone, pleased to say we had no health and safety incidents in my group on the early shift.

As construction works receded in the recession and my previous company went into liquidation, I looked to utilise my transferable skills with one of Britain's biggest retailers. Working on the Electrical helpdesk, providing advice to customers on a one-to-one basis engaging with them to offer the right products from televisions to SAT NAV to meet their needs processing sales adhering to till procedures and maintaining high levels of accuracy. Demonstrating excellent communication and sales skills to ensure customers left happy with their experience. Also dealing with complaints and processing refunds/exchanges regarding faulty products or change of mind items. Deliver outstanding merchandising standards ensuring shelves stocked and t.o.s items clearly marked. Assist in collecting store deliveries, checking off and processing in order to make stock available including embracing Tesco direct click and collect merchandise.
