My main responsibility in this job was to provide person centred care for service users of the home, maintaining their dignity and confidentiality. For the role of a care assistant, I had to partake in training in specific areas.

In September to October of 2020, I was trained to become a Senior Care Assistant, this job role required additional training such as Medication Administration Training. As a Senior Carer I was responsible for dispensing medications, team leading and being in contact with the relevant professionals regarding the service user’s health and wellbeing.
