Responsibilities: Lesson planning, leading lessons, encouraging positive behaviours for learning, pastoral support for registration group, exam marking, grade collections, liaising and building relationships with parents, building relationships with students, student safeguarding, leading/supervising Science practicals, conflict resolution between students, teaching years 7-13

June 2022 – December 2022:

Role: Science Teacher (Northfleet Technology College)

Responsibilities: Lesson planning, leading lessons, encouraging positive behaviours for learning, pastoral support for vertical registration group, exam marking, grade collections, liaising and building relationships with parents, building relationships with students, student safeguarding, leading/supervising Science practicals, conflict resolution between students, teaching years 7-11

September 2021 - June 2022:

Gap in employment: Completing Initial Teacher Training through the PGCE Secondary Education course

Responsibilities: Those of a Science Teacher with the added responsibilities of a student working to a Master’s level research standard

January 2021 - July 2021:

Role: Teaching Assistant (Saint George’s CofE Secondary School)

Responsibilities: Assisting SEND students in classes, working with students' diagnoses and needs to facilitate learning and positive behaviours, encouraging positive behaviours for learning, pastoral support, scribing/reading for students with extra exam accommodations

Responsibilities: Supervising/managing staff, opening/closing the store, handling store finances (cashing up tills and safe, and banking cash and coupons), control of keys (store keys, safe keys, high-value product cupboard keys, and pharmacy keys), managing the store's shrinkage (stocktake, zero-to-zero, top thirty, date code), customer service, liaising with the store and area manager, creating/arranging sales displays, managing and implementing store layout plans, communicating daily and weekly sales figures

Responsibilities: Supervising students sitting exams in SRAA exam rooms (Students Requiring Adapted Arrangements)

Responsibilities: Supervising/managing staff, opening/closing the store, handling store finances (cashing up tills and safe, and self-banking cash and coupons), control of keys (store keys and safe keys), managing the store's shrinkage (stocktake and applying stock damages and wastage to the back-office system), customer service, liaising with the store and area manager, creating/arranging sales displays, managing and implementing store layout plans
