Charlie Austin

My name is Charlie Louis Austin. I am 23 years old and reside in Castleford, Yorkshire. I am currently seeking a position in the front of house / reception environment. If someone asked how I would describe myself, I would say positive, dedicated, happy and very passionate about seeing to people’s needs. For example, one of the guests I have looked after wrote a review stating “Charlie went over and above to deliver great customer service”. One of my ongoing strengths is dealing with queries and providing a resolution. I would also like to add that I am amicable, friendly and enjoy going the extra mile to satisfy customer needs. As a quality, a lot of people have described me as polite and approachable. 

I have recently completed a new course in Level 3 Hospitality where I have had the privilege of supervising level 2 students on the front of house. Just before finishing the course, I have completed a successful two-week placement at Oulton Hall where I have shadowed the position of concierge & receptionist. As a result, I have gained more independence on IT Skills, communication and the strengths of dealing with customer queries. I would describe it as the best learning experience on a work placement. 

I have gained 4 Travel & Tourism certificates at college; Level 1,2,3 and Extended. (Four years in education).
