About Charlie Burgin:
Experience
I am a hard-working, compassionate and caring individual who takes great care and pride in her work. I enjoy working by myself and as part of a team to bring the best possible results, this is evident in my current and previous work, both as a self employed domestic cleaner and now as a member of a tight team working in the Neonatal Unit in The William Harvey Hospital.
Customer service is my passion and I love talking to people and making a difference to their day and experience. I always want the first impression to be a great one to ensure people immediately feel comfortable and cared for.
Customer experience is everything and makes a huge difference to the way people feel, and if I can give people the best experience then I can feel that I’ve done the best work I can do.
Additionally, I know how it feels to work in a hard working, fast-paced environment and ensuring everything is cared for as the majority of my time as a Healthcare Assistant consists of ensuring nurses/doctors are cared for the whole shift and that all jobs are completed in that time. This meant helping in practical ways, for example stocking everything up in the unit (medical supply trolleys, nursery cupboards, replenishing the stock room), changing and cleaning incubators, ordering stock, chasing up stock via email, phone calls to companies and then relaying information regarding stock to the appropriate teams in a timely fashion and more. Not only did I have to ensure work was done, I also have been given the responsibility to train new members of staff to carry out this role, and once comfortable they were able to work on days by themselves as well as with the team. This meant ensuring everything was organised to ensure that everything was covered.
I’m also always excited to try new things and learn new skills.
I’m confident that I will be able to hit the ground running and be an asset to your organisation.
