2022-Present Research assistant at Oxford Networked Strategy Lab, Steer research on meta-organizations’ response to crises. Supervised by Raphael Ramirez and Trudi Lang.

2022 Mitacs Strategy Internship. Lead field research in a team of nine research associates to survey food entrepreneurs in underserved suburbs. Supervised by Dr. Jayeeta Sharma. 

2021 Jackman Scholars-in-Residence Fellow. Used R to parse anti-homeless laws with Dr. Joe Hermer's project: "Pandemic Policing of the Homeless: Making Scarborough Visible."

2021 University of Toronto Excellence Award (UTEA) Recipient. Joint research with Dr. Harald Bathelt on how institutional contexts of American micropolitan areas affect interregional inequality. 

2021 Richard Charles Lee Insights through Asia Challenge (ITAC) Recipient. Lead quantitative research seeking trends in anti-Asian sentiment on American alt-right online forums. 

2021 Research associate at Culinaria Institute, UTSC. Conducting interviews with food banks to realize the impact of COVID-19 on Asian food accessibility under Jayeeta Sharma’s Feeding City Lab. 2020-21 Discovery Fund Award Recipient. Lead independent research on American news outlets’ variations on the tone and topic coverage regarding COVID-19. 

2020-22 Research assistant at the School of Cities. Collecting and analyzing data for research on water access on First Nations reserves under Dr. Dan Silver’s Urban Genome Project. 

2020 Wasteland Corp (Emergent Ventures) Fellow. Research and development of a wiki linking political theory to case studies of experimental cities. 

2020 University of Toronto Excellence Award (UTEA) Recipient. Dataset analysis and visualization to realize trends in personalism and autocracy. Supervised by Dr. Seva Gunitsky.
